BRADFORD, Vt.—The Vermont State Police say they have identified a man who was thought to have tried to abduct a 16-year-old girl from a parking lot in Bradford.
Police say the man followed the girl around a store late Wednesday afternoon and then grabbed her by the arm and tried to drag her away as she tried to get into her car.
Police say the driver of another vehicle intervened by honking their horn and driving toward the man.
Police say their investigation is continuing. They did not say if the individual will be charged with a crime.![]()
