WILLISTON, Vt.—Police in Vermont say they've charged a 37-year-old woman with driving under the influence and child endangerment after she was found to have a blood-alcohol content more than four times over the legal limit while driving seven children in her vehicle.
Williston police said they received a call at 6:45 p.m. Friday of a vehicle forcing oncoming cars off the road.
Police said after they stopped the vehicle, Mary O'Neil of South Burlington gave a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of more than 0.37 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.
Police said the woman was driving the children to the movies.![]()
