SOUTH ROYALTON, Vt.—A high-ranking U.S. Environmental Protection Agency official will reflect on the agency's 40-year legacy in a lecture at Vermont Law School.
Curt Spalding, EPA's administrator for the New England region, will talk about the challenges facing the agency in the era of climate change and other environmental threats.
EPA, which was established on Dec. 2, 1970, was created in response to rampant pollution.
Spalding, a former executive director of Save The Bay, in Rhode Island, will speak at 12:45 p.m. Thursdayat the law school, which is located in South Royalton.![]()
