ST. ALBANS, Vt.—A St. Albans, Vt., man is facing charges he sold drugs and then resisted and assaulted a police officer who was arresting him.
Twenty-two-year-old Brendan Berno is charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, one count of assault on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest.
Police cited 23-year-old Megan Cross on a charge of impeding a police officer by grabbing Vermont State Police Trooper Jacob Metayer.
The Burlington Free Press says Berno and Cross were arrested on Tuesday.
