BARTON, Vt.—Cellular telephone service is going to get better in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
Officials say two new towers are under construction, one in the town of Barton, the other is in Brighton.
On Thursday, construction crews used a helicopter to install a 90-foot tall tower on Barton Mountain.
The second, 130-foot metal pole in Brighton will be raised in parts, with a crane putting up the bottom part and the helicopter adding the top piece.
The towers are owned by brothers Vincent and Joseph Illuzzi.
Vincent Illuzzi tells the Caledonian Record ( http://bit.ly/ofc2GH) the towers will have enough space so three wireless companies will be able to locate equipment on them.
