BENNINGTON, Vt.—The teachers' strike in southwest Vermont is continuing with no resolution reached before the weekend.
The teachers' union says a meeting has been planned for Monday morning between the union and school boards of the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union to discuss a new proposal from teachers.
The two sides did not meet on Friday, after negotiating throughout the week.
School has been canceled during the eight days of the strike.![]()
