SHEFFIELD, Vt.—A 25-year-old northern Vermont man has been indicted on charges of coercing a 12-year-old to take nude photos of herself and send the images to his cell phone.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Richard Fletcher, of Sheffield, was indicted Thursday following his arrest last month by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.
The Caledonian Record says Fletcher is charged with inducing a girl in Utah to take photos of herself in sexual poses and send him the images.
Investigators say the girl told Fletcher she was 12 years old and in the seventh grade when she met him on the Internet last year, and that he said he wanted to marry her and have children with her.
