Vt. starts online license renewal for retailers

MONTPELIER, Vt.—Some Vermont businesses can now renew their retail licenses online.
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets has started a new online service for businesses to renew and pay for their annual retail products and weighing and measuring device licenses online.
The new web service is intended to be more convenient and to save both businesses and state government time and money.
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture has licensed more than 3,700 retail locations each year in retail and weights and measures categories and officials say that number is expected to grow.
