NOFA holds marketing conference for Vt. farmers
SOUTH ROYALTON, Vt.—The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont is holding conference on marketing for farmers who sell their products at farmers' markets, farm stands and as community supported agriculture farms.
The daylong conference takes place Jan. 8 at the Vermont Law School in South Royalton. It includes 19 workshops on topics ranging from leveraging customer relations into year-round sales to planning and measurement strategies.
Organizers say the event is intended to bring together farmers and market experts to help farmers build stronger marketing opportunities to serve the growing Vermont market for local food.
The annual Vermont Farmers' Market Association meeting also will be held at the conference.
Conference registration costs $30 for NOFA Vermont members and $35 for nonmembers. The fee includes a lunch made with local ingredients.![]()
