Vt. park fountain hauled away for makeover

ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt.—A rusted park fountain in St. Johnsbury, Vt., has been removed and hauled to a restoration studio for a makeover.
It's estimated it's going to take about four months to restore the damaged Arnold Park fountain.
The Caledonian-Record reports (http://bit.ly/zHvW3F) the restoration project is being funded with donations raised by fountain supporters.
About $100,000 in renovations -- in addition to the fountain -- are planned at the park, including landscaping, new fountain plumbing and repairs to the fountain base pool.
