Pedestrian struck, killed in Vt. town

BRATTLEBORO, Vt.—Police in Vermont have released the name of the 64-year-old man killed while walking on a Brattleboro street.
Police say Gary Lumbra of Brattleboro man died shortly after being taken to a hospital Thursday night. He was struck by a car driven by a 71-year-old woman. The name of the driver has not been released.
The Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is working with Brattleboro police to determine what happened.
