Wildfire danger elevated in Vt.
MONTPELIER, Vt.—State officials say dry and breezy conditions across Vermont are expected to continue through the weekend, which will likely continue the high to very high fire danger level.
The forecast also calls for winds over 25 mph. The Department Forests, Parks and Recreation says this could lead to fire weather watches or red flag warnings issued by the National Weather Service.
Residents are being urged to avoid burning materials on dry, windy days.
