Police: Man dies after 25-foot fall from Vt. dam

HIGHGATE, Vt.—Police say a Vermont man has died after falling 25 to 30 feet at the Highgate Dam.
Police say the death of 44-year-old Rocky Duckworth of Swanton appears to be accidental. He fell Sunday afternoon.
Police say alcohol, marijuana and poor footwear appear to have played a role in the fall.
An autopsy was being done Monday.
The dam is a popular fishing and swimming spot.
