Vermont hosts US Grand Prix of Mountain Biking
WARREN, Vt.—Professional and amateur mountain bikers will compete this weekend at Sugarbush Resort in the U.S. Grand Prix of Mountain Biking.
Organizers say the four stop national tour attracts top athletes in downhill mountain bike racing from around the world.
An average of 300 athletes per race compete in the U.S. Grand Prix of Mountain Biking.
Racing starts on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Finals will be held on Sunday. Manufacturers and local bike shops will also be on hand both days at an expo at the Lincoln Peak base area.
The event is free for spectators and open to the public.
