Vt. attorney to replace probate judge

WATERBURY, Vt.—A Waterbury attorney will be sworn in to replace a probate judge in Washington County Superior Court.
The governor has nominated Jeffrey Kilgore to replace Judge George Belcher in the probate division of the Washington Superior Court.
In addition to practicing law, Kilgore also is an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School, an associate professor of business and economics at Norwich University, and special counsel to the Department of Public Service. He's also served as moderator at Waterbury's town meetings for the last nine years.
Kilgore, who graduated from Vermont Law School in 1978, will be sworn in on Monday.
