Share your reaction to the gay marriage decision
Massachusetts's highest court ruled 4-3 that same-sex couples are legally entitled to wed under the state constitution, but stopped short of allowing marriage licenses to be issued to the seven couples who challenged the law. The court ordered the Legislature to come up with a solution within 180 days. What are your thoughts on the issue?

I am in full support of this ruling. I have friends and relatives that are gay/lesbian, and they deserve equal rights as residents of this state and country. I am proud to be a resident of Mass.

I think this is fantastic - finally some steps toward real recognition of the diversity of families and relationships in our community. I only wish the decision had gone farther, and fully guarranteed full marriage, rather than setting up the potential of a Vermont-style separate-but-equal civil union type arrangement.
