Media pick Faneuil Hall as perfect Boston backdrop
Most major networks will use Faneuil Hall as the site for their live shots during the Democratic National Convention. What site would you choose to represent Boston?

I would choose aeriel views of the highways and roads that surround Boston, Medford and Somerville and all of the people stranded on the roads from this joke of an event. That way people could find out what a second rate town we live in because of dopes like Menino and Kerry running the show. That would be great.

The Old State House. Prettiest building in Boston, site of the Boston Massacre, plenty of vantage points because every building near it will be vacant. Lots of views of the protests at Government Center.
Mark, Somerville
I can think of at least 3 places they should film: - The Boston Commons - a gorgeous setting where people flock to on their lunch breaks and free time. - Newbury Street / Boylston Street area - there are 2 major landmarks that define the Boston skyline ( The Prudential and the Handcock ). - The Symphony area - There are museums, shows, and bustling city life. I think Fanueil Hall is great, but there's so much more. I didn't even mention the cultural diversity's of The North End and China Town ( I guess I just did ).

On top the roof of the building that houses Filippo's Ristorante on Causeway St. You can have the backdrop of the Zakim Bridge or the USS Constitution and then you can also see the Fleet Center and all the activity going on around it.

The Holocaust memorial with the Olde Union Oyster House -- one of Boston's newer memorials to history juxtaposed with one of it's oldest and most ongoing.
