Where should the F.A.O. Schwarz bear go?
The now-defunct F.A.O. Schwarz donated its hallmark statue, a three-ton bronze teddy bear, as a "gift to the children of Boston," and now the city is facing the daunting task of deciding where to put it. Some people say it should be shipped to the Rose Kennedy Greenway or a park built at the site of the old elevated Central Artery. Others think it works better at Boston Common, or the Public Garden, with Mrs. Mallard and her bronze ducklings. Where do you think it should go?

Baa Humbug.....Why memorialize an overpriced and evidently poorly run toystore. Make an artificial reef out of it by sinking it in the harbor or cut a door in the back and make it into a pay toilet. Better yet sell it and put the money toward making sure the new Greenway stays green and doesn't turn into a dustbowl like the Christopher Columbus park was for so many years.
Bill
The Public Garden near the ducks, or between the ducks and the swan boats, for the convenience of parents with little kids.

If this is for children, then you may want to consider the Childrens Hospital.
Paul
Since the F.A.O. Schwarz bear has been given to the CHILDREN of Boston, I feel the best home for the bear would be either the CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL or the CHILDREN'S MUSEUM.
Linda
Leave it where it is!
Joe
Put it in front of Children's Hospital
Michael
Put it in front of the Fleet and put a Bruins Jersey on him.
Jamie
I would put it up in on the jamaica way...

I understand that Iraq has a few statue pedestals open now. Ship it to Baghdad!
Eddie
Why not give it to Curt schilling as welcome gift? Or to Theo as a thankyou gift! Or ship it to Arazona and drop it on Shea Hillenbrands house?
