Where should the F.A.O. Schwarz bear go?
The now-defunct F.A.O. Schwarz donated its hallmark statue, a three-ton bronze teddy bear, as a "gift to the children of Boston," and now the city is facing the daunting task of deciding where to put it. Some people say it should be shipped to the Rose Kennedy Greenway or a park built at the site of the old elevated Central Artery. Others think it works better at Boston Common, or the Public Garden, with Mrs. Mallard and her bronze ducklings. Where do you think it should go?
Read the story: A new home for the F.A.O. Schwarz bear is a subject of intense speculation

The Bear should should be displayed in a North End park for all of the city children!
Darren
The bear should go to Children Hospital.
Carine
I also think it should be placed in the commons with Mrs. Mallard and the bronze ducklings. It's such a historic place for children (especially in the summer).

Put it by the Children's Museum!

Sell the bear- the city needs the money. Let's not get stuck with another white elephant like the Enchanted Village. Macy's was smart to unload it on the city & we can't afford it, too.
Liz
Children's Hospital seems like the most logical place.

Children's Hospital

Melt it down to make ammunition for Iraq.

The FAO Schwarz Bear should be placed in front of the Children's Hospital. A greeting from the City of Boston to all of those children who come to the Hospital.
Cherune
I think the best possible location for the bear would be at Children's Hospital.
