Where should the F.A.O. Schwarz bear go?
The now-defunct F.A.O. Schwarz donated its hallmark statue, a three-ton bronze teddy bear, as a "gift to the children of Boston," and now the city is facing the daunting task of deciding where to put it. Some people say it should be shipped to the Rose Kennedy Greenway or a park built at the site of the old elevated Central Artery. Others think it works better at Boston Common, or the Public Garden, with Mrs. Mallard and her bronze ducklings. Where do you think it should go?

The Bear should be put in front of the Children's Hospital since it's being given to the children in the city of Boston. The children should see something nice and inviting - "waving" them in...

I think the Public Garden would be a wonderful place for it. But perhaps Children's Hospital would be better. THere are lots of scared kids there who would love to see the giant teddy bear.

The bear might be a nice addition to the monolithic and uninviting entrance to the newer wing of the Boston Public Library.

The bear should reside at the Childrens Museum. It makes sense that if the bear is a gift to the children of Boston, then it should be readily accessible to them.
