Where should the F.A.O. Schwarz bear go?
The now-defunct F.A.O. Schwarz donated its hallmark statue, a three-ton bronze teddy bear, as a "gift to the children of Boston," and now the city is facing the daunting task of deciding where to put it. Some people say it should be shipped to the Rose Kennedy Greenway or a park built at the site of the old elevated Central Artery. Others think it works better at Boston Common, or the Public Garden, with Mrs. Mallard and her bronze ducklings. Where do you think it should go?

In the bullpen at Fenway...or better yet, as the 5th starter!

#1: Leave it where it is, but if that's not possible: Give it to the Children's Museum of Boston -- have them put it out in front of their main entrance. I think that would be the ideal, perfect place, staying true to giving the bear statue to the "children of Boston."

Is there a reason why it' has to be moved? There's nothing wrong the current location.

Outside the childrens room of the Boston Public Library.

Having spent quite abit of time there with one grandchild or another, I'd suggest placing the bear in Children's Hospital in Boston to bring some measure of delight to those dear children undergoing (and often painfully so) treatment. Many are wheeled about the main lobby as a relief from their rooms. And there are those small family members waiting in the lobby. Also another benefit is when new patients arrive and feeling insecure and scared and there is this huge bear to welcome them.

It should go next to the Milk carton at the Children's Museum.
CHILL
Definitely in front of Children's or Floating Hospital,

The new boardwalk beside the chrildrens museum. I cant imagine a better place than the boardwalk beside the Childrens Museum at the Fort Point Channel. There is a concrete paved area there if the weight of the bear is too much for the boardwalk itself. The boardwalk has seats where families gather there all the time, not just summer.
