Where should the F.A.O. Schwarz bear go?
The now-defunct F.A.O. Schwarz donated its hallmark statue, a three-ton bronze teddy bear, as a "gift to the children of Boston," and now the city is facing the daunting task of deciding where to put it. Some people say it should be shipped to the Rose Kennedy Greenway or a park built at the site of the old elevated Central Artery. Others think it works better at Boston Common, or the Public Garden, with Mrs. Mallard and her bronze ducklings. Where do you think it should go?
Read the story: A new home for the F.A.O. Schwarz bear is a subject of intense speculation

why not plop it in front of children's hospital? that seems logical, since it would benefit children and remain in the city.
rene
Drop the 3 ton bear on President Bush.

I think that Children's Hospital or Shriners is a wonderful place to have the bear. It would bring a little sunshine to the kids.
Linda
Children's Hospital or the Shriners Burn Institute would be good locations.
Susan
In the Boston Public Gardens

Replace the letters on the blocks with Bruins logos. Then place out the Fleet Center to greet fans entering the arena. Good luck finding a 12 foot leprachan.
Jim
There use to be an area in the Boston Commons called "Playland." This is where the bronze statue should be placed.
Donna M
Leave it be!!!
Elly
It should be moved to the Children's hospital to be enjoyed by the patients there.

In the Boston Harbor, Fort Point Channel area in front of the Children's Museum. Floating for all to see. Similar to Golf events hwere they float a car in the middle of a body of water. It would draw millions.
