You know it's moving day in Boston when...
You know it's almost moving day when all the rental places run out of moving vans a month in advance.
How do i know it's moving day? Living in the Tufts area basically all my life, it is just about impossible to go up my street this time of year without a U-haul truck blocking most of the street and the students thinking I'm the one with a problem! Another sign are out of state drivers driving aimlessly around the city who take a sudden right in the left lane! I can go on about this :)
We moved down to NJ after 7 years in Brookline. I was just telling a friend that you know it is moving day in Boston when there is a rental truck with it's top peeled off sitting wedged into a Storrow Drive overpass!

When you hear all the reports of rental trucks trying to go under the overpasses on Storrow Drive. It's amazing how many colleges students don't know how the read the "No Trucks Allowed" signs posted everywhere... hmmmm
