why do NH people bother voting, the polls have already told them who won

SULLY, NEEDHAM

Bush will win in NH and in 04! 1. Economy is growing Dems say no job growth (Economics 101 job growth always a lagging indicator in a improving economy) 2. Bush made the right National security decision ousting Hitler I mean Saddam. Dems say he lied on WMD's (FACT Saddam had them and has used them. UN inspectors in 98 said so and got kicked out of Iraq. Question is where are they now? 3. Lowered by taxes and I'm not rich. 4. Improving education while holding schools and teachers accountable 5. Prescription drugs for seniors. 6. Brought integrity back to the White House

Stephen, Braintree

I think Kerry will win and I think he deserves it. I'm dying to see him debate George W. because Kerry's already shown how cool he is under pressure in the Weld debates. I wouldn't have the same confidence in either Dean or Clark. Both constantly have to retract comments made on the stump - I mean, how hard is it to prepare a speech for supporters and repeat it over and over? And Clark is really bad at responding to criticism. His exchange with Bob Dole after the Iowa results came in was awkward as hell. As for Lieberman, I think that some of his views, like his support for the federal funding of faith-based initiatives, put off Northeasterners. And Edwards is a great guy, but I don't think that electing a political newcomer over a Washington "insider" is the most compelling argument for this particular election.

I've put a lot of thought into this. I looked at everything, but the most important THING to me was when I watched the President of hte United STates of America, George W. BUSH, talk to ALL Americans at the State of the Union Address. He was right: we are fighting a War on TERROR, and if we allow people to keep doing what they want with the world, then terror WILL win! We can't allow that! We have to keep fighting! Ask Saddam if he wishes he was in office still: he says NO! Because we bombed them just like they bombed us! The people of Iraq are now free because of AMERICA! It was hard, but it was worth it, just like WW2. Ask some old people: they'll tell you: When America is poked in the eye with a sharp stick, we're gonna poke back!!! And if gays are allowed to marry, then who knows what'll come next? People all around the world laugh at us because we fight each other INSTEAD of TERROR!!!! Why don't we join together and fight terror and infreedom instead of each other. I watched and watched the State of Untion, listening to President George Bush, and when he said something good, the Democrats sometimes wouldn't even stand up and applause!!! That to me isn't American at all. When they don't applause, the rest of the world sees us and says: America is weak and divided, now we must attack! And they will. Just ask the people who live under terror in Bethlehem. That's not the way it should be, and it shouldn't be so here. So I say: Tell the Democrats: If you're not going to be part of America, then we DON"T WANT YOU!!!! Tell those jerks that if they're gonna make fun of hte president (while he's still in the White House, servinge as COMMANDER AND CHIEF... this isn't "Slick Willy" Clinton we're talking abou there!) then they shouldn't be allowed to enjoy the freedom of vote that we all have and LOVE. So I say: don't vote for the Democrats, because they hate America! LOVE AMERICA!!! SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!! LET'S COME TOGETHER AMERICA - TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING WE WANT, TO ANYONE WE WANT TO DO IT TO!!! THANK YOU.

John Kerry will win, unfortunately. Too bad he will do nothing for us, because he's done very little for people in Massachusetts. Even though Kerry will get New Hampshire, hopefully, somebody worth voting for will win the nomination.

Julie, Boston, MA

It really doesnt matter....... George Bush has $200 million to spend and these guys will be fighting it out and spending their money trying to WIN the nomination...by the time their thru whats left ? This isnt like it was 4 years ago.....

Bill, Waltham

We need a leader who takes a stand and has the courage to stick by his decisions and not flip flop. President George Bush has demonstrated under very difficult circumstances that he can handle the pressures of leadership. He deserves our support.

Richard, Norton

Al Sharpton should win because he can relate so well to the citizens of New Hampshire. His idealogical background goes hand in hand with the pulse of the state.

KC, New Jersey

I think Kerry will win, then Dean, Clark, Edwards, Lieberman, etc. I still don't know who I think is best. My heart says Dean, but my brain (who is saying Beat Bush!) makes me think Clark or Kerry. AARGH!

Mike, Malden, MA

Here are my final predictions, just so I can feel smart if I am right (if not, I will ignore them...): 1. Kerry 2. Dean 3. Edwards 4. Clark 5. Lieberman I could be totally off...I just feel like making up some order to compare with the results that will be in soon. As Kerry said about Bush, Bring it on!!
