WASHINGTON -- National Republicans have been trying to persuade former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown to run for Senate in New Hampshire as those inside the state are growing increasingly impatient after months of indecision. The chairman and vice chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, senators Jerry Moran of Kansas and Rob Portman of Ohio have urged Brown to take on Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who is otherwise expected to have a relatively easy reelection next year.
