U.S. Skaters to Concentrate on Individual Competition After Team Bronze

United States (U.S.) skater Jeremy Abbott said on Tuesday (February 11) he feels blessed to have a second chance at performing on the ice after falling during the short programme in the team event of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. Speaking to journalists in Sochi, Abbott, who was part of the U.S. team which won bronze at the event on Sunday (February 9), said he had been disappointed by his performance and felt he had let down his team mates.
