WASHINGTON — Senator Bernie Sanders has been traveling the country and calling liberal activists to gauge support for a presidential bid. He plans to speak Saturday in New Hampshire, the first presidential primary state, about America becoming an “oligarchic society.”

The only member of Congress to call himself a Democratic Socialist said in an interview this week that he is sincere in his quest to bring his ardently liberal message to the presidential contest, and will make a decision on getting into the 2016 race by January.
