Apple's come off the winner of sorts in the latest round of its battle with Samsung over mobile phone patents. A jury in the U.S. has ordered Samsung to pay more than $119 million for infringement of two Apple smartphone patents. The judge ruled a third had been infringed before the trial began. But the payout is far less than the two billion dollars Apple had sought. It's now up to the judge to decide whether to ban on sales of Samsung phones in the U.S.
