Andy Milovich, general manager of the minor league team the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, got probed for a good cause Thursday. Literally.
In an effort to raise awareness for prostate cancer, Milovich endured a prostate screening—a digital rectal exam, to be exact—while singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game.” This all occurred during the seventh-inning stretch while cameras filmed from the neck up for the whole stadium to watch on the scoreboard screen.
Amazingly, Milovich managed to stay in-key during the process.
Milovich pledged to undergo the exam on the team’s Prostate Awareness Night if the Facebook page of local 10-year-old Fallon Emery, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in December, received 10,000 likes.
