On Sunday night, human remains were found in the Beebe Woods in Falmouth, according to The Cape Cod Times.
According to the Times, Beebe Woods is “a 319-acre swath of land behind Highfield Hall and Gardens and includes a network of walking trails, wooded ridges and several ponds.”
Two Falmouth residents were walking in the woods and reported what they considered to be human remains off the trail around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, according to The Boston Globe.
The Times reported that members of state medical examiner’s office arrived at Beebe Woods around 1 p.m. Monday and left around 2:30 p.m., but were not carrying a body bag.
