Correction: Because of poor audio quality on a reporter's tape recording, the exact quote by Senator John F. Kerry regarding comments from foreign leaders about his candidacy was incorrectly transcribed in an article that appeared in the Nation pages on March 9 and in a Page One story yesterday. The correct Kerry quote is: "I've been hearing it, I'll tell ya. The news, the coverage in other countries, the news in other places. I've met more leaders who can't go out and say it all publicly but, boy, they look at you and say, `You gotta win this, you gotta beat this guy, we need a new policy' -- things like that. So there is enormous energy out there. Tell them, wherever they can find an American abroad, they can contribute."
Clarification: A headline on a story in Sunday's World pages may have created the impression that Sinn Fein chief negotiator Martin McGuinness is a current member of the Irish Republican Army. While McGuinness has acknowledged he was an IRA commander in the 1970s, he says he is no longer a member of the IRA and has been involved exclusively in politics since then.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story on Page One Sunday misidentified the company that markets a prescription form of niacin, a vitamin that raises good cholesterol. The correct name is
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in the City & Region section Sunday about the remains of a woman and fetus found in Chelmsford incorrectly described where the remains of three other women were recently found. They were discovered near the Hudson-Marlborough line.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a City & Region story Sunday on the assignment of students to Boston Public Schools incorrectly identified which school Rebecca Schildkret attended. She attended Boston Latin School.
