Editor's Note: A photograph on Page B2 yesterday did not meet Globe standards for publication. The photo portrayed Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner and activist Sadiki Kambon displaying graphic photographs that they claimed showed US soldiers raping Iraqi women. Although the photograph was reduced in size between editions to obscure visibility of the images on display, at no time did the photograph meet Globe standards. Images contained in the photograph were overly graphic, and the purported abuse portrayed had not been authenticated. The Globe apologizes for publishing the photo.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a Page One story on Monday about abuse of Iraqi prisoners incorrectly identified the Cabinet position that Lawrence Eagleburger formerly held. He was secretary of state in the administration of President George H. W. Bush.
Correction: Because of an editing error, a headline on an item in Tuesday's Business in Brief column about Cambridge Credit Counseling reducing its fees and changing some of its practices was incorrect. The actions taken by Cambridge Credit Counseling were voluntary, and a suit filed by Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly challenging the firm's practices remains active.
