Correction: Because of a reporting error, singer Damien Rice's nationality was incorrectly described in yesterday's Pop! column in the Living/Arts section. He is Irish.

Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in yesterday's Sports section incorrectly identified the agency that will represent golfer Michelle Wie. She will be represented by the William Morris Agency.

Correction: Because of a reporting error, a New England News in Brief item in some editions of Tuesday's City & Region section incompletely described the jail term for Dr. Douglas Howard. For illegally distributing OxyContin, he was sentenced to 2 1/2 years and ordered to serve three months with the remainder suspended for four years. Howard also was ordered to serve four years' probation, the first nine months under house arrest.

Clarification: A story in Monday's City & Region section about a fatal stabbing early Sunday at a Huntington Avenue apartment reported that an unidentified resident said the party was hosted by Northeastern University students. Boston police said yesterday that, to their knowledge, no Northeastern students were involved in hosting the party. In addition, a spokesman for Northeastern said the apartment is not leased to any of the university's students.
