Correction: Because of incorrect information supplied by the Boston University Art Gallery, a photo caption accompanying a review of the art exhibit ''Syncopated Rhythms: 20th-Century African American Art From the George and Joyce Wein Collection" in yesterday's Weekend section misidentified a painting. It is John Wilson's ''Girl in Mirror," not a Wilson portrait of Joyce Wein.

Correction: Because of an editing error, a story in Tuesday's City & Region section about abuse charges against a priest, the Rev. Aaron Joseph Cote, who had served in Providence, misidentified the defendants in a lawsuit by the teenager who accused Cote of sexually abusing him. The teenager is suing Cote, the Dominican order, and the Archdiocese of Washington.
