Correction: Because of an editing error, the names of Columbia University economist Joseph E. Stiglitz and Harvard lecturer Linda Bilmes were misspelled in an early edition in Sunday's World pages in a story about the cost of the war in Iraq.
Correction: Because of a transcription error, an incorrect number was published for the average temperature in Boston for 2005 in a graphic summarizing the year's weather in Sunday's paper. The 2005 average was 51 degrees; the normal average is 51.6 degrees.
Correction: Because of reporting errors, aspects of the channel lineups on Sirius and XM satellite radio were incorrectly reported in Sunday's Business & Money section. Fox News is only on the XM network; Sirius has a deal with National Public Radio to carry shows such as ''Talk of the Nation" and ''Fresh Air."
Correction: Because of an editing error, a photo caption in an early edition of Friday's City & Region section accompanying a story about the Springfield Diocese's plan to close churches misidentified a young parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield. The parishioner was Michael Strain.
Correction: Because of incorrect information provided by the band's record label, the Rock Notes column in Friday's Weekend section credited Jack Douglas as the producer of the New York Dolls' self-titled debut album. Todd Rundgren produced the album; Douglas was one of the engineers.
