Lead singer of Goo Goo Dolls headlines Clinton fundraiser
BOSTON --Hillary Clinton is getting a little rock and roll boost at an upcoming fundraising in Boston.
Goo Goo Dolls Singer John Rzeznik is headlining an Oct. 10 fundraiser for Clinton at Symphony Hall in Boston.
One of the fundraiser's selling points is its relatively low price. Tickets start at $20. Top tickets are $2,300.
Actress Mary Steenburgen and campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe will host the event, which will feature other entertainment, including an a cappella group from Clinton's alma mater Wellesley College.
The event is also part of the campaign's effort to boost Clinton's support among women.
