Correction: Because of a graphic artist's error, a graphic showing results of the Michigan primary on Page One yesterday transposed the percentages for Republican candidates Fred Thompson and Ron Paul.
Correction: Because the subject of an interview provided misleading information, a man quoted in a Page One story Tuesday about employees who telecommuted during Monday's snowstorm was incorrectly identified as Heywood James, 41, of Needham, and an employee of Fidelity Investments. Fidelity has no employee by that name.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in Tuesday's Nation pages about flights canceled in Monday's snowstorm misstated the number of runways Logan International Airport has. The airport has six.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a Page One story Sunday about water infiltration in the Central Artery tunnels incorrectly described the contractual responsibilities of project manager Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff for ensuring the tunnels did not leak. Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff's contract did not contain a specification for dry tunnels; its contract required it to write construction contract specifications, which called for watertight tunnels, and to monitor construction companies for adherence to those specifications.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story on genetic engineering of trees in the Ideas section on Dec. 23, 2007, misstated the amount of wood taken from plantations. About 35 percent of the wood the world uses comes from forest plantations, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
