Wisconsin primaries
Voting: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. EST
At stake: Democrats, 74 delegates; Republicans, 40.
Democrats: Barack Obama leads in the polls, and the electorate's makeup appears to favor him. Hillary Clinton is making a late push, and aired a TV ad criticizing Obama for declining an invitation to debate in the state.
Republicans: John McCain is well ahead of Mike Huckabee in the polls and seems well positioned because it is an open primary and he has proven appeal to independents and moderates. Wisconsin does not register voters by party affiliation.
Hawaii Democratic caucuses
Voting: Starts at midnight EST
At stake: 20 delegates
The race: Obama, who grew up in Hawaii, is the heavy favorite because he has won most of the caucuses so far and because the electorate is ethnically diverse.![]()
