CONCORD, N.H.—Barack Obama is campaigning far away, but his campaign is open for business in New Hampshire, starting a voter registration drive.
Obama volunteers were meeting at Nashua Public Library on Saturday to start a voter registration drive in the area, clearly aiming at the general election.
Obama finished second to Hillary Rodham Clinton in New Hampshire's presidential primary and Republican John McCain is popular in the state - winning this year and when he rain in the primary in 2000.
A recent UNH poll showed McCain leading Obama in the state.
Obama's voter drive is part of a national program.![]()
