Correction: Because of a reporting error, a review of the documentary "George H. W. Bush" that ran May 5 in Sidekick gave an incorrect description of Bush's opposition to the United Nations and the Civil Rights Act. He denounced both in 1964, two years before he entered Congress.

Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story that ran on Page One on May 17 on the sentencing of Roberto Pulido incorrectly described the duties of one of three former Boston police officers convicted of participating in a scheme to protect cocaine shipments into the city. Carlos Pizarro was a patrolman in District D-4, not a member of the motorcycle unit.

Correction: Because of information provided by the Massachusetts State Police, a person killed in a car accident on Interstate 495 in Wrentham was misidentified yesterday in a brief in the City & Region section. Conrad Lindsay, 58, of Leicester, was killed Friday when he lost control of the 1998 Ford Escort he was driving.

The Globe welcomes information about errors that call for corrections. Information may be e-mailed to comments@globe.com or left in a message at 617-929-8230. Other Globe contacts can be found on Page B2.
