Correction: A story in the Ideas section July 13 about new approaches to sanitation referred incorrectly to the location of Clivus Multrum flushless compost toilets at the Cambridge School in Weston. They were installed in a maintenance facility. The school's green building uses the Phoenix composting toilet, made by Advanced Composting Systems LLC.

Clarification: A story in yesterday's City & Region section on Fernando Vargas, an East Boston teenager who died when his ventilator shut off during a power outage, said that Ryan Emmett speaks for the family of Quinn Kephart, a 2-year-old from Hopedale, Ill., who died because of a failed ventilator. Emmett is a close friend of the Kephart family who knows the details of the situation, but he does not speak directly for the family.

Correction: Because of a reporting error, an article on Saturday's City & Region front about the joys of cold-water swimming gave the wrong name for a South Boston site. It is Pleasure Bay.
