For the record
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a Page One story Wednesday about turmoil in the student loan market misstated the amounts that students can borrow through the federal Stafford loan program. Dependent undergraduates can borrow between $3,500 and $7,500 annually.
Clarification: CBS changed the weekly time slot of the drama "Swingtown" after yesterday's Sidekick went to press. Beginning tonight, the show will air on Fridays at 10 p.m.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in yesterday's Globe about Barack Obama's visit to Israel mischaracterized the role that the Israel Project played. The nonpartisan group was not involved in organizing Obama's visit to Sderot.
Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story on Monday's Nation page about speculation that Governor Deval Patrick could be nominated to the Supreme Court in a Barack Obama administration included an incorrect quote from David Yas, publisher of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He said, "Lawyers were really behind him [Patrick], but since he's taken office, lawyers would give him a B-minus or C-plus."
Correction: Because of incorrect information supplied by the Universal Press Syndicate, a Web address in a column on yesterday's Money&Markets page was incorrect. The correct address is edmunds.com.
