Effective Sept. 1, rates for home delivery of the daily Globe will increase by 25 cents per day Monday through Saturday. The new price of a seven-day subscription will be $9.25 per week (rates outside the metro Boston area may vary). The cost of a Sunday-only subscription will remain $3.50 per week. This increase is the result of rising operations costs, including newsprint, labor, and materials. Discounted rates will still apply for subscribers paying by recurring credit card.
