HOUSTON - Astronauts raised plastic cups of iced tea and toasted the Thanksgiving holiday from the international space station yesterday.

"To Thanksgiving. Wishing everyone on Earth, and off Earth, a good Thanksgiving," Endeavour astronaut Don Pettit said, holding a makeshift plastic cup he had devised during his visit to the space station. Astronauts normally drink liquids from pouches using straws.

The seven Endeavour astronauts and three space station crew members had dinner 220 miles above the Earth.

The space shuttle is set to undock from the space station early today and return to Florida on Sunday, completing a 16-day mission.
