■ Correction: Because of a reporting error, a story in yesterday’s business section about nonprofit fund-raising misstated the total assets in the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund. The fund has $4.1 billion in assets, and raised $1.6 billion from donors in 2008, up 4.2 percent from 2007.
■ Correction: Because of a photographer’s error, a photo caption in a Page One story in Saturday’s Globe about an assault at Massachusetts General Hospital misidentified the building. The photo was of Boston Health Care for the Homeless’s Jean Yawkey Place, a health care facility.
■ Clarification: A caption accompanying a Page One story in yesterday’s Globe about the Cape Wind project may have left the impression that the wind turbines would be built on Popponesset Beach in Mashpee. The turbines would be placed along the horizon in Nantucket Sound.
■ Correction: Because of an editing error, the Starts & Stops column in Sunday’s Metro section included an incorrect Internet address for the site where readers can see the results of a questionnaire asking Boston City Council candidates how often they walk, ride bicycles, drive, and use public transit, as well as their views on a variety of transportation issues. The correct website is: http://bostoncitycouncilelection.weebly.com/the-survey.html.
■ Correction: Because of an Associated Press error, a photo caption on the Nation page in Wednesday’s Globe misidentified the unit that President Obama honored for courage during the Vietnam War. The unit was Troop A, First Squadron of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
