BOISE, Idaho—Police in southeastern Idaho say autopsies found no signs of trauma to 1-month-old twin boys whose deaths have been described as suspicious.

The babies were pronounced dead at a Pocatello hospital Monday after their mother called 911 to report they weren't breathing.

Pocatello Police Lt. Paul Manning said Tuesday the deaths of Gabriel Medrano and Tryce Medrano will remain under investigation pending the results of lab tests on toxicology samples, which could take several weeks.

Manning says autopsies performed Monday night found no signs of trauma to either infant.

Authorities said Monday that the mother called 911 around 8:35 a.m. to report that the twins, who were born in October, weren't breathing. Police say the babies were rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
