Vegas helicopter made erratic climbs and turns before crash that killed 5

A helicopter that crashed on a twilight tour flight made a sudden climb and sharp turns moments before plunging into a Nevada canyon, killing all five people aboard, a federal crash investigator says. Mark Rosekind of the National Transportation Safety Board said Wednesday’s fatal flight was the fourth for the aircraft after it underwent routine maintenance Tuesday to replace the engine and mechanical actuators in the tail and main rotor.
