Arrests in major child porn investigation
Some of the men charged in an international child porn investigation that has led to 43 arrests and the identification of more than 140 child victims:
--Robert Diduca, Milford, Mass. Triggered the investigation by emailing a photo of an 18-month old boy to an undercover agent. Sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and other offenses.
--Robert Mikelsons, Amsterdam. Charged after authorities traced the photo sent by Diduca to the Netherlands, where Mikelsons was a day care employee. Confessed to molesting more than 80 children and was sentenced to 18 years.
--Michael Arnett, Roeland Park, Kan. Charged with producing and possessing child porn. Authorities say he also chatted online about a desire to kill and eat children. Pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.
--Ronald Brown, Largo, Fla. Charged with conspiracy to kidnap a child and possessing child pornography. Authorities say he talked online about sexual abuse and cannibalism. Pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.
