Groundhog Day
Don't put the coats back in the closet just yet. Famed weather prognosticating groundhog Punxsutawney Phil has emerged to see his shadow in Pennsylvania, meaning winter will last another six weeks.
Phil made his annual prediction while being held by John Griffiths, one of the groundhog's handlers.
German tradition holds that if a hibernating animal sees its shadow on Feb. 2 -- the Christian holiday of Candlemas -- winter will last another six weeks. If no shadow is seen, legend says spring will come early.
