Hurricane Dolly entered the South Texas coast on Wednesday as a Category 2 storm with rain and winds of 100 mph. Although the storm knocked out power for thousands of people, drove people to evacuation shelters, and caused widespread damage, it calmed down a bit by Thursday and is now considered a tropical storm. At left, a torn American flag hung on Wednesday in Harlingen, Texas during Dolly.
